ABOUT ME

in 2001 I inherited my grandfathers old film camera; a Nikon 6006 (I still have it and still use it!) I spent many of my high school years documenting our family events and memories. 

When I got to college, I enrolled in film photography 1 in the darkroom... I was instantly hooked.

I ended up winning a contest and changing my major to Photojournalism. I had the opportunity to be a photo intern at the Florida Times Union newspaper for 2 years... covering everything from NFL games, to the PGA tour, and local surfing contests.

I spent quite a few years shooting digital, but film was always my first choice for personal projects and creative expression. I am so overjoyed to be making the shift back to film full time. It has such a rich way of telling a story, as well as conveying the feeling in that moment too. I look forward to creating timeless and beautiful moments that will last a lifetime.
